From Vision to Reality

For a long time, we envisioned creating a styled shoot with the Wedding Circle. We dreamed in vivid colors of how it would look and come together.

We—Lisanne and Patrizia—co-founders and owners of the Wedding Circle, finally brought this dream to life in November of last year. Inspired by classic elegance with a touch of playful charm, I created a harmonious concept that blossomed into a magical reality, thanks to the creative brilliance of Bettina from Eden Moments. Together, we created a vision that left everyone involved absolutely enchanted.

The Concept: Timeless, Elegant, and Playful

The color palette for the styled shoot centered around green and white.

White symbolized timeless elegance, purity, and classic sophistication—perfectly complementing the regal charm of Schloss Schadau. Green added a fresh and modern touch, bringing depth and vibrancy to the design.

For the mood board, I drew inspiration from the classic elegance of the Baroque era, paired with trending details like lace and ruffles. These playful accents were mirrored in the stunning haute couture wedding dresses from @lovely.fairytales, with their fine fabrics and romantic silhouettes seamlessly blending into the overall aesthetic.

The Location: Schloss Schadau

Schloss Schadau, situated in a picturesque setting overlooking Lake Thun, was the perfect backdrop for this elegant concept. The castle's intricate architecture and rich history added a layer of enchantment to the shoot. Every design element was chosen to complement and enhance the castle's unique atmosphere.

The Wedding Stationery: Crafted with Love

As the designer of the wedding stationery, my goal was to reflect the elegance and charm of the castle in every detail. Naturally, I featured a beautiful illustration of Schloss Schadau on the detail card, which became a centerpiece of the stationery, delighting the guests.

The envelope liner showcased a delicate Toile-de-Jouy pattern, inspired by the Baroque elements of the architecture. This design added a nostalgic touch while highlighting the historical connection to the castle.

Handwritten calligraphy—an essential part of my designs—added a personal and emotional note to the stationery. A standout feature was the modern cut of the detail card, a chic and elegant detail that tied the whole suite together.

Day-of Stationery: A Perfect Match

The day-of stationery, including menus and table numbers, was carefully designed to complement the lush floral arrangements by @edenmoments.ch. The tables, arranged in a circle and adorned like a vibrant meadow, also reflected the layout of the ceremony.

To echo this concept, I used round menus and delicate butterfly table numbers that seamlessly blended with the floral designs, adding an air of whimsy and lightness.

Another highlight was the exquisite rings from @joovels_trauringe, whose timeless design perfectly embodied the romantic spirit of the shoot.

The Wedding Cakes

@delicatessecake crafted two exquisite cakes for the shoot: one with a stunning vintage aesthetic and another with a sleek modern touch. Both designs added their unique flair to the overall theme, beautifully complementing the concept - and the best, they were so very delicious!

Collaboration: Creating Magic

This styled shoot was one of the greatest challenges I’ve ever undertaken. Together as the Wedding Circle, we brought this project to life with over 15 talented vendors and 15 photographers. The coordination and planning were intense, but every effort was worth it. The team brought together passion, creativity, and professionalism at the highest level.

Conclusion: A Dream Come True

The styled shoot at Schloss Schadau was a testament to the magic that happens when creativity, passion, and teamwork come together.
